		<description>Interesting viewpoint, and I agree with you.  I think it&#039;s not only the &quot;unknown&quot;, but also making the change puts the responsibility for your happiness in your own hands.  It&#039;s so much easier to blame everyone and everything else for our misery.  Making it our own responsibility is a lot scarier.

Work is going well for me also.  New President seems very good.  I hope some changes are made.

		<description>Clearly making the tough change is worse because it&#039;s filled with the unknown. It&#039;s so much easier to be miserable and maintain business as usual - a decision which sadly accounts for all of the dysfunctional organizations we know. Once you commit to change - the sense of freedom can&#039;t be adequately described - but it&#039;s intoxicating!

I can honestly say that I&#039;ve met every new change in my career with enthusiasm and 100% loyalty and buy-in. But, no matter how committed you may be, when it becomes evident your employer doesn&#039;t share the same value set - it may be heart-breaking but it&#039;s clearly time to make a break. If you don&#039;t it will suck the life out of you.
